Laboratory J.S. Hamilton Poland Sp.z o.o. performs accredited RoHS testing of electrical and electronic equipmentac to Directive 2011/65/EU
The J.S. Hamilton laboratory performs ROHS testing using a screening method (XRF), which combines the highest accuracy and precision of the elemental composition analysis.
In case of detecting the presence of Pb, Br, Cd, Cr, Hg or when the result is close to the acceptability threshold of the given element, the sample is additionally verified using chromatographic and spectrometric tests.
In the course of further analysis, the Pb, Cr(VI), Hg, Cd as well as PBB and PBDE content is determined in detail.
Directive 2011/65/EU concerns limiting the application of certain hazardous substances such as:
- chromium (VI)
- polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
- polybrominated biphenyl ethers (PBDE)
- bis (2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate ( DEHP)
- benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP)
- dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
- diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)
