The laboratory is a member of the Polish Union of Cosmetic Industry – a sectoral organization consisting of more than 120 companies representing cosmetic industry. Since its inception in 2002, it actively supports companies working in the beauty industry: producers and distributors of cosmetics, laboratories, research institutes and training centres. The Polish Union of Cosmetic Industry is actively involved in the works on the existing legislation as well as it initiates the creation of new legislative proposals. The Union represents cosmetic companies on the international arena, presenting the position of the Polish cosmetic sector in international discussions. One of the main tasks of the association is s the leading cosmetic Working Groups referring to such key issues as: legislation, ingredients, claims, standardization and many others. Working Groups are groups of experts being a platform to exchange views, reacting to legislative proposals in national and European law. The result of the work of the Working Groups are common technical and legislative positions allowing to build consistency Polish cosmetic industry.
