EN 60529 IP degree of protection tests
The Testing Laboratory of J.S. Hamilton Poland Sp. z o.o. in Siemianowice Śląskie carries out professional tests of the degree of protection according to the EN 60529 standard provided by enclosures of machines (including rotating) and devices, called IP degrees.

What is our IP degree of protection certification service?
We provide reliable confirmation of the degree of protection in the full range of the first and second characteristic numeral IP1x÷IP6x and IPx1÷IPx9k according to EN 60529.
The result of IP degree of protection testing completed with a positive result is an accredited test report confirming that the enclosure provides adequate protection against the ingress of solid foreign objects, dust and water (from dropping to high-pressure and temperature jets).
In addition, on the basis of the above report, the Certification Body J.S. Hamilton Poland Sp. z o.o. in Siemianowice Śląskie can issue a certificate of conformity to EN 60529 confirming the IP degree of protection of enclosures.
On the basis of these documents, manufacturers can declare IP protection codes for their products. Correct identification of the code – IP degree of protection is necessary for users to correctly determine the intended use of a device or machine enclosure and the conditions for its use.
