Once microbiological purity and physicochemical parameters are verified with positive results, the cosmetic product can undergo clinical evaluation with human subjects: 

  1. Dermatological Testing: Patch tests performed on volunteers under dermatological supervision to rule out skin irritation or allergic reactions, ensuring basic skin tolerance. 
  2. Application Studies: Practical user tests (consumer perception studies) conducted in home conditions under dermatological supervision. Volunteers use the cosmetic product according to instructions and assess subjective feelings (e.g., skin hydration, smoothness, application comfort). 

The highest level of proof for regulatory authorities is achieved when dermatological and application studies are combined with objective data obtained through instrumental testing methods and clinical trials.
